EuroFC 2: A fightcard to make history in Europe

On next February 11st, the European city of Prague will witness an event of magnanimous proportions and great relevance for many reasons.

The next event of the European MMA promotion EURO FC is already configured, and has a top competitive level, difficult to match by the rest either in fighting quality and well-known names in the old continent.

If the inclusion of the Spanish Enrique «Wasabi» Marín gave him an unprecedented interest to capture all the attention of the European MMA fan after participating in UFC200, the last additions of other top MMA athletes have just highlighted EURO FC 2 as probably the event of the year for the most demanding fans (and only took a few weeks in 2017). Wasabi will face the heavy-handed Finn Aleksi Mantykivi, who broke the streak of former unbeaten Soren Bak after a portentous TKO in the acclaimed EURO FC 1.

Efraín Escudero, winner of his edition of The Ultimate Fighter in UFC, will measure himself against one of the most promising French prospects of the present day, Mansour Barnaoui in what will be the main event of the evening.

In addition, the icing on the cake was announced hours earlier, as Japanese MMA legend Yuki Kondo (59-32-9) will make his first European incursion in what will be his 101st professional bout against local fighter and Czech MMA pioneer Petr Knize (23-1).

Kondo, with a long career and victories over legends of the caliber of Ken Shamrock, Guy Mezger, Ikuhisha Minowa or Semmy Schilt, also disputed the light heavyweight belt to Tito Ortiz in UFC, and fought against Wanderlei Silva and Dan Henderson in the glorious days of the Japanese promotion Pride.

Undoubtedly, an event that shows the current muscle of the european company based in Finland, which seeks to be the number one reference in terms of fight quality, excitement, stage setting and fighters.
