Raymison Bruno defends title against Kevin Cordero at AFL 19

The first match-up for AFL 19: Night of Champions has been announced. Brazil’s Raymison Bruno (11-1) will defend his flyweight title against Spain’s Kevin Cordero (7-2) on March 30 in Las Palmos, Gran Canaria.

Bruno won the title at AFL 14 with a unanimous decision to win over Andoni Sorano. Most recently the 27-year-old scored a high profile win over Pietro Menga, who was touted for the UFC at the time, in the UK.

Kevin Cordero has the biggest opportunity of his young career. The Gran Canaria native has a chance to win the AFL title in front of his hometown crowd and, in doing so, registering to win over his toughest opponent to date in Raymison Cordero. The 19-year-old is 2-0 in AFL with wins at AFL 12 and AFL 14.
